It was overgrown and gone before being reclaimed in the 1970s, and today, it’s still a pretty moderate 3.6-mile hike to Calloway Peak (5,946 feet). You'll come to a treacherous scramble with a white arrow painted on the rock. The trail wraps around the rocks at the very top and climbs up onto them, making a steep right turn.
